SAN DIEGO CHARGER AND TCU ALUM, LADAINIAN TOMLINSON MOVES HEADQUARTERS FOR FOUNDATION TO SUNDANCE SQUARE

FORT WORTH (October 28, 2009) – LaDainian Tomlinson, running back for the San Diego Chargers and an alumnus of Texas Christian University, has moved the headquarters for the Tomlinson’s Touching Lives Foundation, Inc. to Sundance Square with offices located on the sixth floor of the Burk Burnett building.

“We are very excited to have an office for the Foundation here in Fort Worth,” said Shannon Brazzell, executive director of Tomlinson’s Touching Lives Foundation and also a TCU alumna. “LT is a native Texan and the time he spent at TCU was extremely special to him. We hope to engage the Fort Worth community with our endeavors to make the lives of children better in the community.”

Landry Burdine of Burdine Realty Co. negotiated the lease for Tomlinson’s Touching Lives Foundation with Robert Gamblin of Sundance Square handling the negotiations.

Tomlinson’s Touching Lives Foundation engages in a number of programs and activities designed to promote education, social, and cultural awareness as well as positive self-esteem to enhance the lives of less fortunate families.

Through initiatives such as Camp LT football camps, the “LT School is Cool Scholarship”, 21 Club, LT Celebrity Golf Tournament and the inaugural Celebrity Softball Tournament in April 2010, LaDainian Tomlinson’s dedication to America’s youth has touched the lives of thousands of families across the U.S. in inspiring and empowering children.

Located at 500 Main, the Burk Burnett Building was built in 1914 and restored in 1980. The building was designed by Sanguinet and Staats and was the city’s first true skyscraper. The building is neoclassical in design and was originally built as the home of the State National Bank.
