Texas Rangers Bring America’s Favorite
Past Time to Sundance Square

FORT WORTH, Texas (September 25, 2008) – The Texas Rangers are stepping up to the plate in Sundance Square with a 750-square-foot retail store on the ground floor of the Western Union Building at 316 Main Street. This is only the second Texas Rangers retail store outside Rangers Ballpark, with another store located in Dallas’ Uptown area.

“We are thrilled to have the Texas Rangers joining us in Sundance Square,” said Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square. “The Rangers brand is a proud Texas tradition with a loyal fan base. Everyone will enjoy the convenience of a first-class retail operation so close to home.”

The retail store will operate as a full-service ticket office for the Fort Worth area. Fans may purchase  individual game tickets and season ticket holders can upgrade and exchange tickets from their season packages as well as purchase food and beverage vouchers. Representatives from the Rangers also will be available to provide assistance with group, suite and season ticket purchases.

In addition to the retail store, the Rangers have leased more than 1,000 square feet of space in the Old City National Bank Building. Nearly a dozen employees will occupy the business office and retail facility. The Ranger’s new office in Sundance Square will give the club a marketing presence with business clients in the Fort Worth area to keep them informed of the business and entertainment opportunities offered by the organization and the Rangers Ballpark.
