SUNDANCE SQUARE LASSOS FERRE’S RISTORANTE E BAR

Popular Dallas Restaurant to Occupy Former Angeluna Space

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 13, 2005 – Sundance Square announced Ferré Ristorante e Bar will open its second Metroplex location across from the legendary Bass Performance Hall in May 2006. Ferré, known for its contemporary Italian/Tuscan cuisine, will occupy 4,400 square feet at 215 E. Fourth Street in the space formerly occupied by Angeluna,

In addition to Ferré Ristorante e Bar joining the list of caliber restaurants in Sundance Square, Taverna Pizzeria and Risottoria and Piranha’s Killer Sushi announced last month they will open new locations in downtown Fort Worth’s Sundance Square.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the combination of fine restaurants joining us in Sundance Square,” said Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square Management, L.P. “Ferré is an excellent choice to occupy this prime location across from Bass Performance Hall. The caliber of restaurants being added to Sundance Square is a credit to our team. We have created a great mix of dining, shopping, and entertainment in downtown Fort Worth that appeals to both business and consumer markets.”

Patrick Colombo opened the first Ferré in Dallas’ trendy West Village. He’s also known for other successful ventures, including Nick & Sam’s and Sfuzzi.

“Ferré was conceived as a cutting-edge contemporary Italian-Tuscan restaurant. The atmosphere will be sophisticated but unpretentious,” said Colombo. “It will provide the perfect blend of what visitor’s to Sundance Square are looking for in a dining experience – attentive service combined with outstanding cuisine.”

Ferré’s interior at the new location in Sundance Square will be very similar to its Dallas restaurant. The restaurant will be designed to display an urban-like loft space reminiscent of the SoHo district in New York. Warm light will radiate throughout, complementing geometric shapes in furniture and upholstery. The centerpiece of the restaurant will be an exhibition kitchen featuring a stone-fired pizza oven and open-fire grill. The bar/lounge area will showcase an urban lifestyle al fresco patio, which will feature an extensive wine list and unique cocktails.
